ACHT BRÜCKEN

Whether as a conductor or composer, Enno Poppe, originally from the Sauerland region, has become one of the most influential personalities on the contemporary German music scene. His ensemble piece Rundfunk (Radio) uses nine synthesizers to transform sound particles of electronic music written between the 1960s and 1980s. A reminiscence of DX7, Minimoog and Hammond organs, as well as a homage to the early era of public radio stations in Germany and their fundamental role in the support, development and dissemination of experimental electronic music.
